Steve Francis Returns to Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Action this Weekend

ASHLAND, KY (June 21, 2012) – Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series driver Steve Francis of Ashland, KY gets back on the track this upcoming weekend with two LOLMDS events.

On Friday Night, June 22nd the series heads to Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, SC and Saturday Night, June 23rd to Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, VA.  Both events will pay $10,000 to win.

In the past two weeks the LOLMDS has been off and Steve participated in two events.  On Friday and Saturday, June 8th and 9th Steve competed in the 18th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream at Tony Stewart’s Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, OH.  Steve would start 17th in the $100,000 to win event.  He would quickly work his way to the front and finish in the fourth position.

On Friday Night, June 15th Steve ventured to Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, OH for the Southern 100.  Steve would finish in the second position behind eventual winner, Eddie Carrier Jr.
